The internet is a fantastic tool to facilitate learning; there are some amazing websites, games and videos that can be used. However, the idea of remote learning isn't always straightforward and there can be a number of factors that need to be considered. On our website, under the parent tab and e-safety tab, you will find lots of useful guides linked to keeping safe online; these guides link to many different games and apps, I have added a link to this page below. It is very important that while your child is using the internet that they are supervised and that they know what to do if they are feeling worried.

  • Thinkuknow Thinkuknow is the education programme from NCA-CEOP, a UK organisation which protects children both online and offline. This site is full of useful advice for parents and carers; it also has links to games, stories and video clips for your children.
  • Internet Matters This site is full of useful support for keeping children safe online. It also offers practical tips to help children benefit from technology and the internet safely.
  • Parent Info Another great site which provides support and guidance for parents from leading experts and organisations.
  • Net-Aware This easy to use website offers guides to different social networks, apps and games.
